I’ll give this a shot, the earth just vibrates and you need to get like under a table or curl up into a ball and place your hands over your head, describe how pictures fell off the wall and stuff in their house fell everywhere and make it dramatic like a news report about casulties and possible fatalities.
Other good ideas you can use drama in would be a Hurricane.
